Senior Infants have been learning all about the parts of a plant and what they need to grow. We decided to grow some cress in yoghurt pots using some cotton wool to soak up the water. Children learned that cress only needs water and sunlight to grow. We then filled in our Plant Growth Prediction sheet to record our thoughts. The children then chose to place the cress pots on the window sill in the staff room. Hopefully we’ll get a few sunny days to help our cress grow!! Take a look and see how they’re growing so far!
