Junior Infant Assembly!
Our current theme in Junior Infants is: “All About Me!” so we’ve been having a lot of discussion about ourselves and how special we are. Last week it was Junior Infants’ very first turn to host assembly and they did a super job! It was based on our theme.
We talked about what makes us the same, what makes us different and how God created each one of us in a very special way. We learned the following poem and shared it with everyone (with actions!) See if your Junior Infant can remember it!
I am special, I am me.
I have two hands and two eyes to see.
A nose to smell and my ears hear well.
A mouth to talk and two legs to walk.
But that’s not all because you see
I am SPECIAL and God made ME!
Some of us also had prayers to say and we all joined in with the following song:
Well done Junior Infants on all your hard work! 🙂
