Countdown to Christmas
December has been a busy month in Fifth Class. As the very best singers in the school, we were invited to sing in Killester College on Wednesday December 11th for their Christmas Fair. We sang beautifully and got to spend time shopping for some treats at the fair too. We also got to see some of the students who are studying in the college, demonstrate the animal obedience techniques they have been learning.
On Tuesday, December 17th, we headed to St.Annes for the first ever Greenlanes Santa Dash. It was so much fun, we all had a great time.
On Wednesday, December 18th, we were invited to sing at Clontarf hospital. It was a beautiful service. Rafy, George, Aidan and Daniel assisted with readings during the service, and the patients and staff really enjoyed our singing. Our Christmas carols brightened up a very windy and wet winter day. Afterwards, we were treated to yummy hot chocolate and cookies!
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without some Christmas crafts. We painted Christmas Trees using cutlery and made a beautiful array of 3D cards. We are all looking forward to having a nice rest over Christmas after all of our hard work.
