What a week!

We had a wonderfully active school tour on Tuesday in the National Sports Campus.  The children took part in a range of activities including javelin, relay, long jump, high jump, trampoline, gymnastics and dodgeball, phew!  A huge thank you to Elaine for helping out on the day.

The fantastic Anna Mc Partlin visited the class and read some of her new children’s book The Fearless Five and signed a bookmark for everyone.

Inspired by our recent talk on STEM projects by Martin Murphy, some of the children have presented their own inspirational inventions to the class.  Well done!

Jordan’s Café on Wheels by Dylan and Harry.

A robot that you can play rock, paper, scissors with by Peter, Charlotte and Jorgia.

A balloon powered car made from recycled materials by Zoe and Maria.

We finished off the week with a lovely sponsored walk organised by the brilliant parents association.
