Maths Week 2020
All week we have been completing a maths trail booklet. It has been very fun! It gave us lots of mathematical tasks to do around the school. Plus it was an excuse to go outside!! Here are some of the activities we did in the booklet:
Here are the girls counting how many people pass by on the road – pedestrians, cars, cyclists. They had to do a tally of this and show the data they collected on a bar chart. They also spotted a squirrel crossing the road!
We also had to measure the length of the pitch using a trundle wheel. We then had to time how long it took each child to run the length of the pitch. We then got the average time it took each child in our class to run the length of the pitch.
