6th Class Maths Trail!
Yesterday 6th class did an outside maths trail.
The class split into pairs and were given a trail sheet between them.
They proceeded to go outside and attempt to answer all the questions.
The questions ranged from counting how many bars there were in the school fence to writing down all the information about the cars in the car park, such as the county it’s from and the reg number.
In the 20 minutes given, all the groups made significant progress on the sheet and had lots of fun doing so. During the trail the pupils used their maths skills to identify shapes in the area.
