I hope everyone is doing well and has had a good week. Below is the work I have assigned for the coming week: as always if there are any question please get in touch with me. The writing programme can be found at http://data.cjfallon.ie/resources/gwtf-handwriting/index.html#!/book-sections/0/section-activities/2 Again there is no pressure to do this; please continue in a way that works for you. Junior Infants have now read 390 books on GetEpic which is amazing so well done to everyone! Have a lovely weekend 🙂
- Tricky word list (email)
- Reader: Splash p. 10-12
- Dictation (email)
- Maths Game (here) This game is quite tricky but it’s a great one to get them thinking! If this game is too difficult simpler games can be found here here and here. You will need your Folens account (same as the reader) to access these games.
- Maths: This week I will assign a different topic each day as revision-at this stage the curriculum has been covered and I know it can be difficult to keep the children motivated so hopefully a daily change will help with the inevitable learning fatigue! Today we will be looking at weight. I will include the worksheets in an email. The relevant page in Busy at Maths is page 8 but more than likely this page has already been completed. Baking and cooking are a great way to explore the topic of weight as they are really hands on.
- Busy Break
- Gaeilge-Bua na Cainte: Caitheamh Aimsire, Ceacht 1
