Dear Parents, 

Thanks for all your support with the Fingal League. As it turns out, both the Senior Boys AND Girls have qualified to the Quarter Finals. We are delighted. 

The quarter final for both boys and girls will be played next week. We have a very important training session on Monday the 3rd of April after school from 2pm-3pm.

The girls have their Quarter final on Tuesday the 4th of April vs GS na Cille. This game will be played in Clontarf on Pitch 30, St Anne's Park, Mount Prospect Avenue. Louise has kindly offered to take the girls on the bus to and from the game. Kick-off is at 2.30so the girls will be back to school no later than 3.45pm.

The boys have their Quarter final vs OLV Ballymun on Wednesday the 5th of April. That game will be played on Ellen Field in Whitehall, kick off is at 2.15. The boys should be back to Greenlanes no later than 3.30. Please make arrangements for the boys to make their way home then. We need 5 parents to give lifts to and from the game. Please let me know if you are available to collect the boys from Greenlanes at 1.15pm and drop them back to school after. Dear Parents,

The details of School Tours for children from Junior Infants to Fourth Class are below. Please note that payment is by our new payment system ONLY. All parentsreceived a email containing a payment access link. (If you did not receive a payment access link, click here). This link will bring you to a payment page which will contain all payments requested for all siblings in a family.  There is only one link per family ensuring you have the option to pay all amounts due for all your children in one transaction. Once you have completed your payment, you will be issued with a reference number. You will also receive an email receipt which will contain details of the transaction and reference number. Please quote this reference number in any queries you may have as regards this payment with the school. For further information on our new payment system, click here. 

Junior and Senior Infant Tour – 1st June 2017

Where: Puddenhill Activity Centre, Co. Meath

Activities: Junior and Senior Infants will be going to Puddenhill Activity Centre, Garristown, Co. Meath on Thursday 1st June. Children will have the opportunity to visit the Animal Farm and participate in indoor and outdoor play (weather permitting).

What to bring: All children are required to bring a packed lunch in disposable containers. Please also ensure that your child is wearing sunscreen and that all personal belongings are clearly labelled.

Price: €22 per child  

First Class Tour – 13th June 2017

Where: Causey Farm, Co. Meath

Activities: First class will be going to Causey Farm where they will experience traditional turf cutting, bodhrán workshop, farm yard visit, mirror maze, obstacle course and nature walks.

What to bring:Children need to bring a disposable packed lunch and drinks. Everyone must wear their oldest clothes and shoes (wellies if they have them). Please ensure your child is wearing sunscreen on the day if the weather is good and provide extra if possible. All personal belongings need to be clearly labelled.

Price: €22 per child

Second Class Tour – 13th June 2017

Where: Fort Lucan

Activities: Second class will be going to Fort Lucan on the 13th June for their school tour.

What to bring: Please ensure your child is wearing suitable clothing, is wearing suncream and has a lunch in a disposable bag. Please provide extra water/suncream if the weather is good on  the day. All items of clothing must be clearly named. There are two water slides in Fort Lucan which require extra payment. The children are permitted to bring between 2-5 Euro extra spending money if they wish.

Price: €22 per child

Third Class Tour – 15th June 2017

Where: Fingal Adventure Centre

Activities: Third Class will be going to Fingal Adventure Centre and Malahide Castle. The children will get to try a variety of different water sports including paddle boarding, kayaking, windsurfing and sailing. They will also have the opportunity to play in the playground at Malahide Castle.

What to bring: Children should wear sunscreen and if the weather is good please provide extra. Children should bring a big packed lunch. Children will be given wetsuits but should bring swimming togs, a towel and old shoes that can get wet and dirty.  Please bring a plastic bag to put wet clothes in.

Price: €22 per child

Fourth Class Tour – 15th June 2017

Where: Causey Farm, Co. Meath

Activities: Fourth class will be going to Causey Farm where they will experience traditional turf cutting, bodhrán workshop, farm yard visit, mirror maze, obstacle course, nature walks and bog jumping!

What to bring: The children need to bring a packed lunch and drinks. Everyone must wear their oldest clothes and shoes (wellies if they have them) and bring a complete change of old clothes and footwear for the bog jumping! Please also bring an old towel and a plastic bag to take home the bog-jumping clothes.

Price: €22 per child
